Biking in Switzerland

Switzerland is an ideal country to travel by bike. I did so several times mostly with all required stuff on the rack including tent, sleeping bag and a lot of water and food of course. The roads in Switzerland are normally in a good shape and often do have a separate line for cyclists. And of course the landscape is beautiful, especially the alps.
This section is intended to provide interested bikers with some information about these tours and about places in Switzerland to go by bike.

Zugerberg

Zugerberg Here you will find the article about biking on and around the Zugerberg. The Zugerberg area is ideal for short trips of some hours, to get oneself moving after work for example. There are countless possiblities to cycle to, a lot of roads, gravel walks and other trails provide a huge variation.

Wildspitz

The Wildspitz is the highest spot in the canton of Zug. It is a very nice mountain to go by bike, as it provides a great sight on the alps and has a beautiful landscape. Details can be found here.
