Hiking in Switzerland
Several reports about hike trips from differnet places in Switzerland can be found in this section. All of them are presented with several pictures.
Chrüzlipass
This is a one day trip starting in Sedrun, leading over the Chrüzlipass to the Etzlihütte
and finally to Bristen. It takes about six to seven hours. Details

Kandersteg - Allmenalp
The alps in the Bernese Oberland are especially beautiful. This small
trip leads from Kandersteg about 600 metres up to the Almenalp. It is not very long
and not very far, but a little steep some times. Nevertheless it is worth a try.

Morschach - Fronalpstock
A very nice hiking trip for a few hours, at first on a red hike trail
and later on a blue alpine trail. A little tricky, only for experienced hikers but
the surrounding and the view is amazing. Covers about 1100 metres a.s.

This article presents the Gnipen, a hill at about 1500
metres a.s. at to the south of Zug, as a nice hiking area.
Rigi Sunrise 2007
A very nice half day trip, starting very early in the morning to catch
the first rays of sun from the top of the Rigi. Details here.
Trift 2007: Guttannen - Windegghütte - Isental
This is the report about a two day hiking trip
to the Trift area.
It started at Guttannen and led to the Windegghütte and from there back to civilisation, in Schwendi.
